New versioning scheme

With the beginning of the new year we’ve made a decision to change our versioning scheme. From now on, all our products will use a date-based versioning scheme in the format: <Year>.<Month>.<Patch> (e.g. 2025.1.100).

For a long time, GemBox used a scheme where major and minor version numbers were written together, which occasionally caused confusion. We believe that this new format will remove that confusion and make it easier to determine the latest version supported by your current license.

Note that this change doesn’t affect your license validity or require any changes in your code. Feel free to update your references if the license is valid. If you get a message saying that your license has expired, you can easily renew it on our website.
