GemBox components have 4 modes that you can use for different work scenarios, from testing to production. All modes use the same DLLs, so that you don’t need to reinstall the component when you switch between modes.
Free Mode
You can use all components in the free mode for any purpose, including use in commercial applications. The free mode delivers the same performance and set of features as the professional mode. The only differences are some limitations — for example, a limited number of rows per sheet in a GemBox.Spreadsheet.
Trial Mode
If some of the limitations imposed by the free mode make it difficult for you to properly evaluate our components, then you can switch to trial mode. Trial mode removes the limitations imposed by the free mode but adds changes to the source document — for example, some cells get the value “trial” in a GemBox.Spreadsheet. For this reason, we recommend that you use the trial mode for testing purposes.
Time Limited Mode
We also provide a time limited mode that you can use for 30 days without any limitations. If you’d like a temporary license key for this mode, please contact us.
Professional Mode
If you need components without any limitations and with customer support, you can get a professional license key from our purchase page.
